We’re whooping and shouting with glee on dastardly descents with the Caledonia Rival eTap AXS Road Bike propelling us down the mountain pass. After a grueling trudge up it feels good to revel in the victory of our climb. And it feels best when we’ve got the smooth handling and responsiveness of the Caledonia on our side. This is a bike born from a mess of possibilities and its inception came along when Cervelo decided to combine the powers of the R5 and the Aspero but with a bigger tire that can take us where we want to go. It doesn’t fit into one category or another but that’s just how we like it. Cervelo took their knowledge of aerodynamic tube shapes to make the Caledonia as stiff and lightweight as ever. Their goal to balance lightness and aerodynamics was a success and now we’re seeing top performance and a bike just waiting to race. A standard round bar stem and seat post give us the option to build out our ride and integrated accessory mounts and hidden fender mounts let us deck out our steed while still looking as fast as it should be.
